Can you freeze espresso beans?

Some people recommend to freeze roasted espresso beans to prolong their shelf life, and I tend to agree with them. Of course, coffee from these beans would not be as good as from the fresh product, but it is much better than squalor drink made from beans that spent half a year on a shelf. Refrigerator helps to save aroma and slows down the spoilage. Keep in mind, that it is better to only freeze coffee beans once, so keep them in small amounts (about 130 gram batches) to be able to unfreeze them partially.

Yes, it can. Of course, you would have to drink tremendous amounts of it (about 22 litres) in two or three hours. This dose is lethal and will amount in around 12 grams of caffeine within your body.
